The Alaluna factory was first founded in 1986 by owner, Francisco Bellot, a highly regarded leather craftsman. In the early years of the factory, the Alaluna product line was sold only on the domestic market in Spain.

As time passed and Francisco's product line expanded, he observed that most popular shoe styles were crafted with imagination, feeling and passion. He realized that he could fill a void in designing and crafting bags and belts that would naturally complement those shoe styles. Francisco followed his instinct and created a new Alaluna collection that was completely fresh and different. The new collection was introduced at Paris's prestige’s fashion show Prêt a Portér in September 2001. It was then the new Alaluna collection was born and hit the most exclusive stores from Tokyo to New York and Europe. Today the Spanish factory Alaluna works very closely with several in-house designers with different backgrounds that enable them to continue to create collections of bags and belts of extremely high taste. In our design group we always try be creative and consider the aesthetics of the product and to ensure the product is functional. All of this comes together by our passion and our knowledge we have obtained working with leather and design for many years.

Our products are to this day only manufactured in Spain. We always use the best quality of leather and we do not use outsource our manufacturing process.

The Alaluna customer can see and feel the difference in quality when comparing our high-end products to many of the replicas you typically can purchase from Asia. Our customers want to be different and they love to surround themselves with high-end quality products. The Alaluna customer is not a mainstream person and wants to be recognized for her confident taste.
